Clam Box

The weekend before, after canoeing for 5 hours on the Ipswich River, we headed to a seafood shack nearby for a much welcome dinner. Clam Box, a national landmark, touts the world's best fried clams. Now, we don't usually enjoy clams, but these little fried things are actually pretty good! The clam taste isn't too strong, and the fried batter bits were light and not too crispy. Since we couldn't decide what to get on the menu, we shared the fisherman's platter, which was h-u-g-e. It was a heap of fried fish, scallops, shrimp, onion rings, and of course, the famous clams.
