Thanksgiven

Thanksgiving weekend this year was all about food for us, especially since we did not go shopping. We didn't really have anything to buy, aaand we were busy cooking and eating.

On Thanksgiving night, the Maijib, one of our two-in-one friends, invited a bunch of us over for dinner, and Najib made the turkey. That's him in the photo. The shirt says fish, the stomach says bird.

It was a really good turkey, all juicy and huge. The rest of the meal was excellent too. We had a seven-mushroom stew, some roasted lamb, eggplant stew-thing, mussels, pear pie and fudge. We made a sweet potato casserole and baked a banana nut cake. We hung around after that to play an exhausting of Balderdash, and learned about Gary Duda, the guy who changed his first name to Zippidy.
