A grand platter, eh?

Here's the bulk of our lunch on the second and final day of our weekend trip to Toronto. It was the aptly named Grand Platter of seafood at the CN Tower's 360 restaurant. The 360 is a revolving restaurant near the top of CN Tower, and because we went really early we got a nice window seat and saw the tops of buildings all around the city. The Grand Platter drew quite a few envious stares from the other folks in the restaurant, and a friendly customer even stopped to chat with us about that smorgasbord of dead sea creatures. It even came on a little plate than can spin so everyone on the table can get the stuff they want. Right at the top of the platter were a few legs and a claw from an Alaskan king crab, which must surely be the perfect crab for lazy eaters. The shell isn't very hard, and the meat slides out of the shell so easily, the Sri Lankan crabs we eat back in Singapore are like Chinese wood knots, eh? A very satisfying meal, which we ended with a short walk to a theater to watch Spamalot.
