Potluck aftermath 1
So we had another potluck today. It seems we have a potluck every other week or so, which is nice because it kind of forces us to make an effort to cook something nice and creative for other people to enjoy. Otherwise it'll be half-hour stir fries or greasy restaurant fare every weekend. Well, come to think of it, some of the potluck food can be greasy also. But at least you know there's heart in it!

We made two dishes today (most of the time we bring just one large dish for the two of us, but one is lonely and two's a crowd). We didn't take any photos at the pot luck, but we came back, felt a little snacky, and decided to blog on the leftovers. Yes, the stuff we brought wasn't finished! Must try harder next time.
The picture here is the chicken curry we made. It was so easy, because the main stuff came from a packet, haha. Yup, the chicken was frozen, the potatos peeled and chopped in five minutes, the coconut milk was straight from the can, and the spices were delicately extruded from a plastic packet. It tasted like you'd expect any MSG meal to taste - good if you don't think too much about it.
