Merry Christmas 2008

We decided to treat ourselves this Christmas by going out and buying a yule log cake. We ordered it from a Japanese bakery called Cafe Cakes, and the cake's a yellow sponge cake with chocolate mousse icing and a couple of meringues. It was snowing this weekend in Boston, this season's first snowstorm, so we had the cake as the snow fell outside. It was nice.
