Confused...

...Or Fusion!

It was kind of a stay-in Sunday. We'd all been eating out so much the past few weeks and the weather was a little crummy, so we thought we'd make some chwee kueh using our new weighing scale (thanks to DaJuanNa) to measure the ingredients. The chwee kueh was a little on the hard side, but overall it was pretty nice. The topping was made with chai poh fried with sesame seeds, garlic and hei bee (tiny dried shrimp).

Daryl and Xiaojuan came over after a music session (Daryl's part of a band and Xiaojuan's a groupie), and they brought some really nice, home-style pasta from a place whose name I can't recall right now. But all very yummy.
