Hearty food

Juniper teaches us something new everyday, whether it's the importance of feeding her well or dodging projectile poop. One unexpected lesson has been the abundance of kindness out in the world.

This is a lunch that our neighbor, Joel, cooked for us one day. We'd had a long night with Juniper, and his surprise act of goodness (he knocked on the door with tupperwares of food) really helped. And we know he cooked it despite being really busy himself. This was a meal that went straight to the heart.

He's not the only one who's been helping out. All-weather friends Daryl and Xiaojuan have also been helping us with groceries and weekend meals, so here's a huge shout-out to them.
