Hawker fare

Hooray, it's a day of Singapore hawker fare! We made "char kway teow" for lunch, or sweet, fried flat noodles, usually with shrimp, bean sprouts, Chinese sausage and egg. We improvised and added tofu, spinach... I know, a little strange, but still tasted fine. For dinner, we went to a friend's place and made mutton and potato curry, and roti john. Roti John is kinda like a Malay french toast. It's bread that's fried and squished with egg and onions. Tasted great when used to scoop up the curry gravy. We dived too quickly into the meal and forgot to take pics.
